Credit card companies - Big time Cheaters

I was shocked to see a letter from Centurion bank that they have rejected my credit card application. The shock was not denial of the credit card (There are so many out there so who cares if you don't have one) but the fact that I had never applied one.

A series of thoughts came to my mind. The first being, how did they get all my documents in the first place for application, who would have forged the signature in my name. I wanted to get into the details of this and called thier so called customer care (ironically where they do not care of the customer). I gave the application number and as I had expected they had all my personal details as required for the credit card application. The call center executive first tried to offer empathy by saying "Sir, you can apply within next 6 months and we will process it for you" (Process it, I said. My foot). I disclosed that I had never applied for a card from Centurion bank and demanded that I wanted to know from where my documents were collected. I was completely irate and hence all the executive told me that Sir it might have happened if you had applied for a credit card from ICICI. That did it! I wanted to talk to their legal department on this and what they have to comment about stealing my personal documents. They said I could reach them by emailing wecare@centurionbop.com.

Then the series of mails started and they are still going on till date. These people are open fraudsters and do not reply or even if they do they just send some vague email stating that we will respond back in 48 hrs.

Having done some research I have come across some information that there exists a RBI cell which listens to grievences of customer and bring them to justice. I wish to excersize them and I'll post them on my blog for helping others who have suffered like me.
